ITINERARY :

Day 01 (Oct 17)

Depart Manila via Emirates at 0020H.

Day 02

Arrive at Istanbul airport and meet guide. Transfer to Istanbul Hotel for check-in.

Day 03

After breakfast, Proceed to scenic drive down to Gallipoli, historically famous for being the site of many battles during WWI. Then cross the second strategic waterway, the Dardanelles, and land in Asia and proceed to Troy. Troy VI pertains to the famous Trojan War of Homer. Check-in hotel in Canakkale for dinner and overnight.

Day 04

Depart for Kusadasi, enroute will visit Pergamon to see the Acropolis, the Temple of Trajan and the theater both overlooking the plain of Bergama with a picture break for one of the Seven Churches of Revelation in downtown Bergama, then finally Ancient Medical Center. Transfer to Kusadasi. After dinner, check- in Hotel.

Day 05

After breakfast, drive to Selcuk to visit the House of Virgin Mary on top of Mt. Coressos. Then visit Ephesus and view one of the Seven Churches of Revelation, the Temple of Artemis. Then continue to Pamukkale. Proceed to the Antique City of Hierapolis where Calcareous hot springs descending over cliffs have created fascinating travertines in the form of white terrace and basins. After a picture break, dinner and check-in hotel.

Day 06

After breakfast, drive through an interesting landscape where peasants make their living, have lunch enroute before arriving in Konya. After visiting the Mevlana Museum, continue to Cappadocia viewing the Sultanhani Caravanserai enroute. After Dinner, check-in Hotel.

Day 07

After breakfast, visit the Underground City of Kaymakli. Picture stops will be given at the Valley of the Birds and at the foot of the Uchisar Castle. Proceed to the Goreme Valley to visit the rock carved churches hollowed out of volcanic ash. Avanos Village followed by the famous local pottery and carpet shows allowing ample time for shopping in the afternoon.

Also time will be allocated for the local souvenir shopping before returning to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 08

After breakfast, drive to Ankara to visit the Ataturk Mausoleum (1881-1938) founding father of the Turkish Republic. Then visit the Museum of Ancient Anatolian Civilizations with its great Hittite Collection. Continue to airport for flight to Istanbul. Transfer to hotel for dinner and check-in.

Day 09

After breakfast, visit St. Sophia museum. Continue on to the Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, facing St. Sophia, famous with its blue Iznik tiles and unique with 6 minarets. Then visit Topkapi Palace, seat of the Ottoman Empire for four centuries, and visit Chinese Porcelain and treasury section. Lastly, browse around the exciting Grand bazaar, a maze of over 4000 tiny shops selling gold, jewelry, leatherwork and fine carpets.

Day 10

After breakfast, free time until transfer to Istanbul Ataturk Airport for flight to Athens. Upon arrival, meet guide and transfer to Hotel for Check-in.

Day 11

After breakfast, proceed to Half Day Morning Tour - Acropolis and Parthenon. Rest of the day is free.

Day 12

After breakfast, free on your own leisure or take an optional tour.

Day 13

After breakfast, free on your own leisure until transfer to airport for return flight to Manila.

Day 14 (Oct 30)

Arrive Manila via Emirates at 2230H.
